Trails
Around 27 km of trails (sources sometimes give only rough area figures) in the 450-hectare Castlewellan Forest Park: the gentle Green Loop along the lakeshore, the beginner-friendly Blue Trail, and the longer Red Trail with black-graded options. Following Storm Éowyn, parts of the Red Trail are on diversion and the black trails are closed until further notice - check current status with the operator before riding. Pump track at the trailhead, bike hire on site.
