Trails

A network of signposted MTB loop routes in the eastern Altmühl valley between Kelheim, Riedenburg, Painten and Ihrlerstein, maintained and steadily expanded by Kelheim Tourist Information (aiming for a roughly 100 km overall network). The Kelheim loops all start and finish at Ludwigsplatz; the "Fakir 2" and "Flow Joe" singletracks on the Weltenburger Berg were added in 2024. All tours connect and can be combined freely.
