Bikepark Navigator
How-to
🗺️ Reading the map
Each pin is a bikepark or spot. The color shows its status:
- green – open today
- orange – limited: only part of the trails, or a rest day today (e.g. the park only runs Sat/Sun)
- red – currently closed
A circle with a number bundles several parks. Tap it to zoom in further, until the individual pins appear.
🔍 Search & radius
Enter a postcode or a place in the search field above. In the “Radius” dropdown you can also pick a distance (25, 50, 100 or 150 km) – your browser then briefly asks for your location, and only parks within that distance stay visible while the map zooms to that area.
🎚️ Filters
“All countries” narrows things down to one country – the map then zooms to its parks. “All categories” lets you pick Bikepark, Trail center, Flow trail or Dirt & pump track. “open only” shows only parks that are running today.
“visited only” shows only the parks from your collection, with a counter (e.g. “12 of 447 parks visited”). You mark a park as visited, or save it as a favorite with the heart icon, right on its own page – both are stored only in this browser, with no account, so you won’t see them on another device.
🛰️ Map style
In the bottom left you can switch between Terrain (with elevation relief – handy for judging climbs), Street and Satellite.
📋 Park details
Click a pin or a park in the list below the map: you’ll get opening hours, prices, the lift or shuttle type, the weather for the next few days, the current trail condition from rider reports, campsites and van pitches nearby, and other riders’ ratings. The buttons start navigation directly or jump to tickets and the park’s own website.
For the larger parks you’ll also see events (whether races or festivals are happening on a given date, and whether that closes individual trails or the whole park) and similar parks nearby.
⚠️ Good to know
- For the larger parks the details are editorially checked – the date is shown further down in the park panel under “last checked”. Smaller parks for now only have location, lift type and the mountain rescue number; the rest is added over time.
- Prices and opening hours are seasonal values. Check them again on the park’s own website before you head out – especially in the shoulder season and during weather closures, these can change at short notice.
- Only official, approved trails are listed – no unauthorized forest trails.
- The weather is a forecast and says nothing about the actual trail condition (wet, freshly shaped, closed at short notice).
- In an emergency, use the number in the park panel. Europe-wide emergency number: 112.
